Mervan Barguti (el-Fetih aday)
He was born in 1959. After graduating from Department of Political Science, Barguti had his MS degree on International Relations in Birzeit University. At the end of 1990s, he founded organization of Tanzim. He canalized activities of adolescents who could not work for the government and the security forces. That Tanzim got interested in corruptions of the Palestine government in 1997-99 caused discomfort. Barguti, who became a symbol of adolescents in Palestine, was elected Al Fath authority for the West Bank in 1999. Barguti who was the leader of the second Palestinian Intifada in 2000, was arrested because of being the head of Tanzim and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade of Al Fath. He was working as General Secretary of Al Fath Movement and as authority of West Bank when he was arrested.
