Semir el-Kadi (el-Halil)

Virtually he is a doctor. After graduating from Kiev University in Ukraine, he became an expert in the field of internal diseases in Palestine. Kadi, who worked as a doctor and as an administrator in different hospitals, became mayor of Sureyf region for a term. He worked for different vocational organizations and NGOs. Before he was arrested, he was also working in the management of a trade union whose members are doctors.
