Fethi el-Karavi (Tulkarim)

Karavi, who was born in 1958 in Tulkarim, grew up in a refugee camp in Hayfa. He graduated from Faculty of Theology in Jordan University. After he had worked as an imam for 10 years, he worked as an educator in local schools of Ministry of Education. Karavi who gave conferences because of his job, was arrested many times by Israel due to his critical conversations against Israel. In 1992, he was one of those who were exiled to Lebanon.
